Our Services

Tiger Cub Medic services include:

  • Paramedic students, Registered Nurse's / physiotherapists / Advanced First Responders 

  • Formal studies in  Bachelor of Physiotherapy / Bachelor of Applied Science / Bachelor of paramedicine as well as other related, Nationally Recognised Qualifications.

  • Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) (HLTAID009) 

  • Provide basic emergency life support (HLTAID010) 

  • Provide first aid (HLTAID011) - Levels, 1, 2 and 3

  • Provide first aid in an education and care setting (HLTAID012) 

  • Occupational first aid skill set (HLTSS00068)

  • WWCC (Working with Children Check / Working with vulnerable people check)

  • Rugby AU passport - Certificate in Concussion and Serious Injury Management / First Aid in Rugby

  • Level 1 Sports trainers certificate's 

  • Administer adrenaline autoinjector (Epipen - Adrenaline epinephrine)

 

Apart from being medically trained, Tiger Cub medics posses extensive experience in:

  • Rugby AU Protocols - Follow the Rugby AU Concussion management flow chart, which includes the concussion referral and return form 

  • FFA (Football federation Australia) Concussion guidelines

  • NRL Return to Play Policy - Guidelines for the Management of Concussion in Rugby League /  Neck Injury Cervical Collar Policy / Head Injury recognition and referral form / Cardiac (ECG) Screening information

 

Tiger Cub will supply: 

  • Paramedic student, Qualified Nurse, Physiotherapist and / or First respondent medics

  • High Risk Remote First Aid Kit with trauma response tools, specific to event (1 kit per medic)

  • An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) - life-saving device used to treat sudden cardiac arrest by analyzing heart rhythm and delivering an electric shock if needed.

  • Medical supplies to attend to first aid, includes, Epipen - Adrenaline (epinephrine), and Ventolin Asthma Inhaler.

  • Wheel chair, crutches and additional forms of mobility aids and assistive devices

  • Full Visibility attire 

  • Tiger Cub records and medical Log's sent weekly to School / club  

  • Check in upon arrival and departure

  • Ice Packs

  • Injury record keeping (Long term)
